We are a proudly South African business that occupies a covered workshop premises of 3000m2 in Prospecton, Durban which is where we have been based for the past 29 years and have evolved into a multifaceted Engineering Business, with a level 1 BBBEE Rating.

We pride ourselves in the successful completion of the many projects undertaken by the business and continually strive to be better, having employed suitably skilled personnel that ultimately become value adding to you, our client.

within our premises, we do not compromise on the health and safety of individuals. All of our staff are properly skilled and experienced, and work under extremely stringent safety and quality controls. Additionally, safety in our clients workplaces is as imperative - As a responsible Contractor, we prioritise working safely in your environment, taking into consideration the massive responsibility of your Health & Safety regulations. Our staff are all well trained on the above, having attended many Safety Induction Courses at various Companies, and working with all the necessary PPE.

In May 2007 Jay Brown Engineering was accredited with the highly sought after ISO 9001:2000 certification. We found it imperative to achieve this certification in order to reassure all our clients of the fact that we provide them with guaranteed quality, second to none. Further, we remain committed to the implementation, maintenance and continuous review of a Quality Management Systems which complies with our current ISO 9001-2015 certification
